ACMI Wonderland
When the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) put together the now internationally renowned Lewis Carroll ‘Wonderland’ exhibition, Nick Lewis Design and creative agency, Sandpit, were asked to come on board to help enrich the audience’s connection to the exhibit. Nick Lewis Design was responsible for the design and illustration of four interactive maps, planned to give visitors multiple immersive experiences. The maps were created in the image of archetypal ‘Alice in Wonderland’ characters and used audio, visual and interactive content, triggered by NFC technology, to draw visitors down their very own rabbit hole into Wonderland’s magical world and through the more than 40 arthouse and blockbuster cinematic adaptations of Carroll’s timeless masterpiece.
