Australian Sports Museum
When the Australian Sports Museum at the Melbourne Cricket Ground underwent a significant $17 million redevelopment in early 2020, Nick Lewis Design joined a team of creatives, including lead design consultants Broadcast Museum Design, to establish an overall visual language for the project. A cohesive and comprehensive approach to graphics and built form (text, imagery, quotes, video, requirements for animation, mapping, infographics, and icons) was put together for the entire museum. The result takes visitors on a journey through Australia’s sporting history that encompasses the full range of different mediums including built form, digital, wayfinding and physical graphics.
