The Story of Lamp

When long-time friends and collaborators Sandpit came up with a unique approach to interactive design that would take visitors on a guided journey through Melbourne’s Art Centre Theatres, they approached Nick Lewis Design to help tell their innovative ‘Story of Lamp’. Nick Lewis Design was tasked with realising a concept centred around a ‘magical’ guidebook that brings a lonely Lamp to life. Lamp spends her days observing the activity around the theatres, and with the help of the guidebook, she takes visitors on a unique exploration of the Theatre’s Building. Nick Lewis Design’s illustrated storybook delights visitors by building a personal connection to the Arts Centre through Lamp.
